Dr. Vijay Kiran is a highly accomplished Nephrologist with over 14 years of expertise in both adult and pediatric nephrology. A first-generation physician from Hyderabad, he is recognized for his clinical excellence and academic dedication. Dr. Kiran holds an MBBS and MD, followed by a DM and DNB in Nephrology. He has also earned the prestigious Specialty Certificate Examination (SCE) in Nephrology from the Royal College of Physicians, London (UK), reflecting his commitment to international standards of care. Further expanding his clinical proficiency, he completed a fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology from St. John's Medical College Hospital, Bangalore. He has served as an Assistant Professor of Nephrology at the esteemed Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, where he played a pivotal role in mentoring and clinical research. Dr. Kiran is a member of leading professional bodies including the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS), the American Society of Nephrology, and the International Society of Nephrology. Known for his patient-centered approach and sharp diagnostic skills, his areas of expertise include kidney transplantation, resistant hypertension, critical care nephrology, and pediatric renal disorders. He currently serves as Senior Consultant Nephrologist, Kidney Transplant Physician, and Medical Director – Nephrology at the Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU), Siliguri.
